Finally remembered to take pictures before eating the food. We love Roberto's, food is delicious and we always have a great time. Wish they would also open for lunch but early dinners work well too. their small bar is very nice for a drink before dinner too.

Ok let’s dive into this! Food is simply AMAZING, high quality, tasty and fresh. Atmosphere is nice and relaxing and service is great. Our waiter was friendly and owner’s wife greeted us warmly. Highly recommend trying this restaurant if you’re into Italian food (who is not!).

The staff was friendly, food was wonderful, and the overall experience was a delight. Everyone there was attentive and kind, and they recommended a great wine that fit what we were looking for. We both enjoyed our dishes, starting with the bread (oh so tasty)! The octopus appetizer was the perfect amount. The gnocchi was hearty, warm, and went perfectly with the red wine we were drinking! My husband got the veal, and we were both pleased that it wasn't breaded and fried like veal is a lot of the time. It was cooked to perfection! We were very happy with our experience here, and I'm recommending it to all my friends and family (mainly so I also have another excuse to come back and try dessert ).

Wow !! What a birthday dinner !! Such great food and service ! I highly reccomend ! Take a look at the photos below !! We enjoyed so many different things. Burrata with peach salad, fried zucchini blossoms, even the special fettuccini with Parmesan !!! Special occasion or just because !! Head out and have a meal here !! You won’t regret it. It’s rare for a chef with as much status as Roberto to be in the restaurant as much as he is!

Had an absolutely wonderful Saturday evening here with a group of 4. I had marked in the resy that we were celebrating a birthday and were greeted with a Prosecco toast. From there service just got better - we felt guided and well advised on ordering and not at all rushed as we worked our way through the menu. The octopus and burrata appetizers were surprising and delightful in the best ways, including their beautiful presentation. Our party also enjoyed their mains (the seafood pasta is great- but more seafood than pasta, you are warned, and should be excited about it!) and enjoyed a dessert celebration as well. The feel of this restaurant should be noted just as much as the food - we were greeted warmly (and in Italian!) at the door and felt the staff went above and beyond to make our experience a good one. I can’t recommend this spot enough for special occasions or just a nice evening dining out!

My wife and I decided to try Roberto’s for Restaurant Week. We heard great things about it, and it exceeded our lofty expectations. We ordered one of each appetizer, pasta dish, and entree offered, and we shared. We started with the zucchini flower and the Caesar salad. The zucchini flower was tasty and very inventive. The Caesar salad was perfect. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, and there was just the right amount of delicious dressing. One of the pasta dishes was tortellini and the other was fettuccini, both homemade. The filling in the tortellini was wonderful and the sauce tasted like it was made with freshly-picked tomatoes. The fettuccini was absolutely incredible. The other time we had this was at a restaurant in Florence, and this dish transported us back there. The main entrees were a roasted rockfish filet and braised boneless beef ribs. The rockfish was delicate and flavorful, and the sauce reminded us of lobster bisque. The beef ribs were tender and truly exquisite. For dessert, we both had the Nutella semifredo, which was basically creamy chocolate mousse in a dark chocolate dome, swimming in a hazelnut sauce. It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. We have eaten at many fine Italian restaurants , but this is the only one we’ve found where the food actually tasted like the food we enjoyed in Italy. If we closed our eyes, we could swear we were at one of our favorite restaurants in Italy. It was that authentic!

This was the first time I go to this restaurant. I was curious to try it out since I was reading Really good reviews about it. I went with my friend to celebrate her birthday 2 weeks ago. The food was good, but what was Even better is the amazing service! Nancy greeted us with a very warm smile and showed us our table. Later on we found out that she is the owner! She is so sweet and lovely. Our waiter was also very friendly. It felt like we were dining with family will definitely be back!

Wow, just wow. That’s what I think every time I go to Roberto’s. Whether I’m in the bar area for happy hour (which really does make me happy) or sitting in the dining room, each visit to Roberto’s brings about new taste sensations and pure enjoyment. From the moment you’re greeted in the front from owner Nancy or one of her team members, to the moment you leave, your time at Roberto’s is truly a dining “experience.” One of the nicest parts about the restaurant is you see the same staff on your visit. Not many restaurants can boast about having the same personnel for long periods of time and it’s a testament to the owners/management to retain the same workers as opposed to a revolving door of employees which you so often see in the restaurant business. Happy hour (Aperitivo Hour) at Roberto’s is terrific. Sitting at the bar or at a table in the bar area is very comfortable. There is a choice of good wines, beer and mixed drinks as well as a selection of nicely portioned appetizers. My personal favorite is the arancini. The full menu offers options for every taste. My most recent visit to Roberto’s was for Vienna restaurant week, which consisted of four courses for 55. The food was incredible. The staff and kitchen have the timing down perfectly between each course. Each selection brought about anticipation for the next course. I enjoyed the restaurant week menu so much that I actually went back a second time later in the week. Yes, it was that good. It was a real treat. The attached photos are from the restaurant week menu. For those in DC or Maryland who may think twice about venturing out due to traffic, just turn on some favorite music in the car. With patience, it’s doable, and very well worth it.
